Sunflower Brownie Bites - 6 ingredients!
These bite size brownie babes are so perfect for that tiny sweet tooth that hits you any time of the day!
They are loaded with heathy fats and low in sugar. No refined sugars here, only banana and a bit of maple syrup! They are so easy and quick, so I definitely recommend them 🍫
Yields: 12 mini brownies
Active Time: 25 minutes
Inactive Time: 0 minutes
Ingredients:
Brownie Bites:
- 1/2 - 1 ripe banana (I used 1/2, use more for a sweeter taste)
- 1 tbsp sunflower butter
- 1 tsp organic maple syrup
- 1 tbsp flax meal
- 1 medjool date (soaked in water for 5-10 minutes and pitted)
- 1/2 tbsp cacao powder
- Optional: sea salt
Drizzle:
- 1/2 tbsp sunflower butter
- 1/2 tbsp coconut oil
- optional: dash of maple syrup for more sweetness
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly oil or spray mini muffin tray with oil (I used coconut oil)
- In a food processor - add all brownie bite ingredients and pulse until batter forms, if it's too dry, add small increments of water or nut milk until batter consistency
- Pour batter into muffin tins, and sprinkle with optional sea salt
- Bake for 12-14 minutes or until outer edges are browned and the inside is fully cooked (poke with a fork and see that no batter comes onto the fork)
- Drizzle: combine ingredients into a bowl and stir until well mixed and liquified, drizzle with a spoon over the brownies.
Enjoy, my chocolate loving friends!!
