The easiest 2-ingredient Coconut Yogurt


I finally found a way to make easy homemade coconut probiotic yogurt that comes out perfect, and is very error-proof! Not to mention, it's only 2 ingredients and does not require fancy cheese clothes or anything. Try it out and hope it works for you too!

What you'll need:
1 Mason Jar (sterile, make sure it's clean, any dirt or bacteria can impact the live bacteria from the probiotics)
2 Probiotic Capsules (any should work, but make sure it's quality brand. I like Garden of Life, Renew Life, and Silver Fern Brand)
1-2 coffee filters
Coconut Milk
Rubber band
Wood Spoon (or plastic)






Yields: 12 ounces
Active Time: 2 minutes
Inactive Time: 48 hours

Ingredients:
1 can unsweetened Coconut Milk (I use this one, without any additives or gums)
2 probiotic capsules


Directions:

  1. Pour the coconut milk into the mason jar
  2. Open the probiotic powder capsules and pour into the milk
  3. Using the spoon (do not use metal spoon which interacts with the probiotics), stir the powder into the milk until it has fully dissolved
  4. Lay the coffee filter (using two will provide for a creamier yogurt) over the top of the jar and rubber band to the jar
  5. Store in a room temperature spot on the counter (away from direct sunlight) for 48 hours without opening
  6. When you come back to it, it should be thick and creamy!
